Indiana's Douglas to miss Game 3 of WNBA Finals
Oct 19, 2012 - 4:47 PM Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Indiana Fever guard Katie Douglas is expected to miss Game 3 of the WNBA Finals against Minnesota on Friday because of a sprained left ankle.Douglas also sat out the first two games of the best-of-five series, which is even at one game apiece.
The 11-year veteran out of Purdue was Indiana's second-leading scorer during the regular season, averaging 16.5 points in 32 games. She averaged 15.5 points in six games through the first two rounds of the playoffs.
Indiana coach Lin Dunn added that guard Jeanette Pohlen will also miss Game 3 because of a knee injury suffered in Game 2 on Wednesday.
