Lynx re-sign C Adair
Feb 1, 2013 - 3:33 PM Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Lynx re-signed center Jessica Adair on Friday.Injuries limited Adair to 19 games in 2012. She averaged 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per contest.
"Jessica proved to be a key member of the 2011 championship team, playing a significant role for the team down the stretch and in the postseason," said Lynx executive vice president Roger Griffith. "We're hopeful that she enters this season healthy and ready to return to her 2011 form. We look forward to watching her continued growth as a player."
Adair averaged 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds off the bench during the club's championship run.
