Feb 22, 2008 - 6:21 PM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Sparks on Friday signed three-time All-Star guard Marie Ferdinand-Harris.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ferdinand-Harris played for San Antonio in 2007, averaging 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds during limited minutes. Ferdinand-Harris had missed the 2006 season due to birth of her son.

She was an All-Star in 2002, 2003 and 2005.
"Marie is a very good basketball player," head coach Michael Cooper said. "I'm happy to have her join the team. Her addition gives us a good slashing, shooting guard that we are going to need this upcoming season."
The Sparks have also received a boost in the past couple of days with the news that Team USA international Candace Parker plans to skip her senior season at Tennessee to turn pro. The Sparks hold the top overall pick in April's draft.
