0 shoutsINDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Indiana Fever signed guard Sherrill Baker on Thursday.
Baker joins the Fever after being released by the Los Angeles Sparks during training camp. Last season, the 5-8 Baker appeared in 24 games with the Sparks, averaging 8.5 points and 3.2 assists.
A first-round pick of the New York Liberty in 2006, Baker has averaged 7.4 points and 1.3 steals in 34 career games.
To make room for Baker, Indiana waived center Kasha Terry.
