SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- Sophia Young's three-point play with five seconds left lifted the San Antonio Silver Stars to a 68-67 victory over the Sacramento Monarchs on Thursday.

Sacramento led, 67-62, with 39 seconds to play, but San Antonio's Becky Hammon buried a 3-pointer with 33 seconds to play to cut the deficit to two.

Young then scored the tying basket on a layup, was fouled and converted the free throw for the lead, which Ruth Riley preserved by blocking Nicole Powell's last-second jumper.

Young had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Hammon contributed 16 points for the Silver Stars (11-6)

Rebekkah Brunson was the only player in double figures for Sacramento (8-9) with 18 points.
