Lynx coach Zierden to miss game vs. Silver Stars
Jul 18, 2008 - 11:06 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Minnesota Lynx coach Don Zierden will miss Saturday's game against the San Antonio Silver Stars due to an undisclosed illness, the team announced Friday.Zierden, who will miss his second straight game, did not travel with the team to Thursday's 96-88 loss to the Houston Comets.
Assistant coach Julie Plank, who assumed the head coaching duties for that contest, will remain in that capacity on Friday. Zierden is expected to re-join the team at home when the Lynx take on the Seattle Storm on Tuesday.
