Storm sign G Beck
Sep 12, 2008 - 1:27 AM SEATTLE (Ticker) -- The Seattle Storm on Thursday signed guard Kimberly Beck for the remainder of the regular season.Beck was selected by the Storm with the 36th pick in the 2008 draft and played in 15 games earlier this season before being released on June 28.
The 22-year-old averaged 12.8 points and 6.2 assists per game during her senior season at George Washington and was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year. She also was selected to the All-Conference First Team and the All-Defensive team for a second straight year.
