Mystics name Taylor new GM
Oct 23, 2008 - 4:53 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Washington Mystics on Thursday named Angela Taylor as the club's new general manager.Mystics COO Greg Bibb made the announcement.
"Angela brings a wealth of basketball and business experience to the Washington Mystics," Bibb said. "We are very fortunate to have someone with over 15 years experience in the WNBA joining our ranks.
"Angela has been involved with the League since its inception. She has experienced success at all levels of the game ... as a player, as a coach, as a basketball administrator and as a business leader."
For the last two seasons, Taylor has served as the vice president of business operations for the Minnesota Lynx.
