Notre Dame made 11 three-pointers in the game, but Georgia was 19-22 from the free-throw line compared to just 5-6 for the Irish. Nate Laszewski scored a game-high 20 points for Notre Dame, to go with four rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal. Cormac Ryan had 15 points, six rebounds, and four assists. JJ Starling added 14 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Braelen Bridges led Georgia with 18 points and six rebounds.

It was the Ramblin' Wreck's first victory over the 'Dawgs since 2014. Miles Kelly was the leading scorer for GT as he poured in 17 points, and Ja'Von Franklin scored 13 to go with 9 rebounds.

Daivien Williamson got things going for the Deacs right away, scoring 10 early points and leading all scorers with 24 points on 7-13 shooting. Tyree Appleby had a great game as well, scoring 22 points on 6-10 shooting with 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the win.
