Down by two, Dane Goodwin hit a three-pointer to put Notre Dame ahead with 15 seconds left, and that would be the game winner. Goodwin finished the game with six made three-pointer and 24 points. Nate Laszewski had 16 points and nine rebounds. JJ Starling added 11 points.

Anthony Polite set the tone for the 'Noles with 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting with 5 assists, 4 steals, 3 rebounds and a block in the win. Four other players scored in double figures for FSU as they made a season-high 14 three-pointers in the win. The Seminoles shot 53% from the floor and 54% from three-point range and held Lipscomb to 38% shooting for the game.
