MOH 56, TENN 78Miami (OH) vs. Georgia Tech:: The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets suffered a tough home loss to open the 2021-22 season as they fell 72-69 to Miami of Ohio. Michael Devoe had a great start to the season, with 26 points on 8-of-18 shooting, but Devoe and the Yellow Jackets went cold late in the game as Miami rallied for the win. Mekhi Lairy had a team-high 23 points for Miami in the win. Georgia Tech shot only 39% from the field and made only 4 of their 17 attempts from 3-point range in the loss.
MOH 72, GT 69Miami (OH) vs. Louisville: Louisville stayed undefeated at home with a 70-46 win over Miami (OH). The Redhawks cut the Louisville lead to 44-40 in the second half, but the Cardinals responded with a 17-0 run. Jordan Nwora scored a game-high 20 points for Louisville. Dwayne Sutton was just two points shy of a double-double as he finished the game with 8 points and 15 rebounds.
