KENN 67, XAV 72Xavier used a 15-0 second-half run to hold off an upset bid from 13 seed Kennesaw State, winning 72-67 in the first round of the men's NCAA tournament. KENN 67, XAV 72Xavier vs. Duke: The No. 8 Duke Blue Devils won a hard-fought game vs. Xavier, 71-64. It was a close game throughout, with neither team extending a big lead throughout the contest. Jeremy Roach led the Blue Devils in scoring with 21 points on 9-15 shooting to go along with 5 assists and 4 rebounds. It was all Kyle Filipowski early on, as he scored 10 of his 12 points before halftime. The Duke defense was stifling, holding Xavier to 38% shooting in the win.
