Rangers agree to terms with Feliz, Ogando, Holland
Feb 27, 2012 - 4:17 PM Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers have agreed to contract terms for 2012 with 13 players, including pitchers Neftali Feliz, Alexei Ogando and Derek Holland.Feliz converted 32-of-38 save opportunities last season for the two-time defending American League champs, posting a record of 2-3 with a 2.74 earned run average.
Ogando made 29 starts and added two relief appearances in 2011, compiling a mark of 13-8 with 3.51 ERA. He struck out 126 in 169 innings.
Holland was 16-5 with a 3.95 ERA in 32 starts last season, then added a pair of wins in the postseason. The lefty is 27-22 with a 4.73 ERA in 79 games, including 63 starts, over three seasons with the Rangers.
