Argos name Brady offensive coordinator
Dec 3, 2012 - 9:49 PM Mississauga, ON (Sports Network) - The Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts made an addition to their coaching staff on Monday, naming Marcus Brady offensive coordinator."I have had the good fortune to have coached and worked with Marcus Brady for four years," said Argos head coach Scott Milanovich. "He is one of the brightest young offensive minds in football, and as we prepare for the 2013 CFL season he will only make our football family stronger."
Brady comes to the Double Blue after serving in the same capacity with the Montreal Alouettes in 2012, capping four seasons with the Als. The 33-year-old was elevated to the post in Montreal due to the fact that Milanovich left the Alouettes to take the head coaching post in Toronto.
"I'm very excited to again be working with Scott Milanovich. We spent several years working together and he is a big reason why I wanted to come and be part of this staff to help build something special here in Toronto," Brady said. "I'm confident this organization will remain competitive and successful for the long term."
Toronto finished 9-9 this past season, but bested Edmonton, Montreal and Calgary en route to the title on its home field of Rogers Centre.
