Roughriders re-sign DL George
Jan 22, 2013 - 6:06 PM Regina, SK (Sports Network) - The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed defensive lineman Tearrius George.George appeared in all 18 games for the Roughriders last season, recording 18 tackles, six sacks and one fumble recovery.
In six CFL seasons, George has 95 tackles, 21 sacks and four fumble recoveries.
In addition, the Roughriders released safety James Patrick, kicker Sandro DeAngelis and wide receiver Clay Cooke.
Patrick played five seasons for Saskatchewan, recording 227 tackles, two sacks and 18 interceptions.
DeAngelis was 30-of-39 on field goal attempts last season.
