Alouettes re-sign Hebert, Bedard, Whyte
Feb 11, 2014 - 1:36 PM Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Montreal Alouettes re-signed three players on Tuesday.Linebacker Kyries Hebert and long snapper Martin Bedard were both inked to new three-year deals, while kicker Sean Whyte has signed on for another two seasons.
Hebert finished the 2013 season with 68 tackles and nine sacks. He was named the CFL's Defensive Player of the Month for July.
Bedard has seen action in 79 career contests with Montreal and has recorded 36 special teams tackles.
Whyte connected on 41 of his 50 field goal attempts last season. He had an average of 41.8 yards per punt while adding seven singles.
