Tiger-Cats re-sign LB Mariuz
Jan 21, 2009 - 9:06 PM HAMILTON, Ontario (Ticker) -- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed linebacker Ray Mariuz on Wednesday.Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Mariuz, 28, had 65 tackles and two sacks for the Tiger-Cats last season, his third with Hamilton.
"We're pleased that Ray has committed to the Ti-Cats," general manager Bob O'Billovich said. "He's a versatile linebacker and a respected guy in our locker room. His ability to excel on both defense and special teams makes him a valuable member of our team."
Mariuz has appeared in 104 games over six seasons in the CFL, recording 267 tackles - including 117 on special teams.
