Roughriders re-sign C O'Day
Feb 3, 2009 - 1:40 AM REGINA, Saskatchewan (Ticker) -- The Saskatchewan Roughriders on Monday re-signed center Jeremy O'Day to a one-year contract.Financial terms were not disclosed.
O'Day, who started in all 14 games last season, has been a part of two Grey Cup championship-winning teams in his 12-year career. The 34-year-old O'Day is a four-time Western All-Star and a two-time CFL All-Star.
"We're very pleased to extend Jeremy's relationship with our club," Saskatchewan general manager Eric Tillman said. "He's the epitome of a pro, on and off the field, and, as such, a great role model for our young guys to emulate."
