BC Lions agree with LB McKenzie
Feb 16, 2009 - 10:55 PM VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker)-- The British Columbia Lions on Monday agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Anton McKenzie.McKenzie will enter his fourth season in the CFL after originally being signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2006.
McKenzie has recorded 68 tackles, one sack and two interceptions in 30 regular-season games.
"Anton is a very good player who brings a wealth of talent to our defence and special teams," Lions general manager and head coach Wally Buono said. "I believe he will make an immediate impact."
