Alouettes re-sign All-Star CB Estelle, WR Bratton
Feb 17, 2009 - 2:57 AM MONTREAL (Ticker) -- The Montreal Alouettes brought back Mark Estelle on Monday, signing the All-Star cornerback to a new two-year contract.The deal also includes a team option for 2011.
Also on Monday, wide receiver/kick returner Brian Bratton signed a two-year contract plus an option year with the team.
Estelle, 27, appeared in 14 games last season with Montreal, recording 54 tackles and an interception en route to his first career All-Star selection.
The 5-9 Estelle has spent his entire CFL career with the Alouettes, collecting 101 tackles and four interceptions in parts of the last three seasons.
Bratton, 26, finished with 636 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season.
