Tiger-Cats sign DT Kirk
Feb 17, 2009 - 10:58 PM HAMILTON, Ontario (Ticker) -- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Tuesday signed defensive tackle Matt Kirk.Terms were not disclosed.
Kirk spent the last three seasons with the B.C. Lions after playing one campaign with the Ottawa Renegades, who drafted him in the fifth round of the 2004 CFL draft.
"Matt has been a steady Canadian defensive lineman throughout his career," Hamilton general manager Bob O'Billovich said. "Matt's experience, character and pass rushing skills make him a quality addition to our roster."
