Pirates' Tabata leaves after hitting wall
Apr 16, 2014 - 5:59 PM Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Jose Tabata left Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds after crashing into the wall while making a catch.Tabata raced back toward the left field wall to make a running catch of Brayan Pena's drive leading off the bottom of the fifth inning. He made a leaping grab at the warning track and his momentum carried his shoulder into the wall.
After remaining on the ground for a few moments, Tabata had his neck and shoulder examined by trainers. He was helped up and walked off gingerly under his own power.
