Nats agree to terms with Frandsen

Nov 14, 2014 - 6:49 PM Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Nationals have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with utility man Kevin Frandsen, avoiding salary arbitration.

Frandsen joined the Nationals last March and batted .259 in 105 games last season, leading the club with 11 pinch hits. He started 42 games, playing mostly third base, second base, left field and first base.

The 32-year-old veteran is a career .259 hitter with 15 homers and 110 RBI in 507 big league games over eight seasons with the Nationals, Phillies, Angels and Giants.
