Twins' Cuddyer leaves game with injury
Apr 5, 2008 - 1:47 AM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - Minnesota Twins right fielder Michael Cuddyer left Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals with an injured index finger on his right hand.Cuddyer was hurt when he slid hard into third base and his right hand jammed into Royals third baseman Alex Gordon.
The team said Cuddyer suffered a dislocation and laceration to his right index finger. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for X-rays
Jason Kubel came in to run for Cuddyer, who had two hits in his two at-bats Friday.
