Rookie RHP Nick Blackburn left after 1 1/3 innings Friday - the 
shortest start of his career.  It was his second consecutive 
start allowing six runs.  He has an ERA of 20.25 over his last 
two starts. ... C Joe Mauer extended his hitting streak to 10 
games and improved his batting average to .328. ... The Twins 
have allowed 37 runs in their last four games, and six or more 
runs in six of their past seven games. ... Minnesota is 6-11 in 
September.
