Twins to place SS Everett on 15-day DL
Apr 19, 2008 - 6:55 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Twins will place shortstop Adam Everett on the 15-day disabled list after Saturday's contest against Cleveland with a right shoulder impingement.Everett had not played since Monday due to the ailment and is hitting just .185 (5-for-27) with two RBI in nine games this season.
Minnesota did not announce who will be called up to take Everett's roster spot, but is expected to make it official after Saturday's contest against the Indians.
