Batista out with groin injury
Apr 26, 2008 - 3:12 AM SEATTLE (Ticker) -- Seattle Mariners starter Miguel Batista left Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics in the second inning with a mild right groin strain.Batista walked five batters and allowed three runs while facing a total of 10 batters. He issued a leadoff walk to Kurt Suzuki in the second before exiting.
Batista will be re-examined on Saturday.
