Twins to activate Everett from DL
Apr 30, 2008 - 8:22 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Twins will activate shortstop Adam Everett from the 15-day disabled list prior to Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers.Everett was placed on the DL on April 19, retroactive to April 15, with a right shoulder strain. He is batting just .185 (5-for-27) with two RBI in nine games this season.
To make room for Everett, the Twins optioned third baseman Brian Buscher to Class AAA Rochester.
Buscher was recalled when Everett went on the DL and batted .240 with an RBI in three games for the Twins.
The Twins posted a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday and have an off day on Thursday.
