Twins LF Cuddyer sits with finger injury
Jun 28, 2008 - 11:19 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - Minnesota Twins left fielder Michael Cuddyer was not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers due to a tendon injury in his left index finger.Cuddyer said the finger has been bothering him for a couple of weeks but it was worse when he awoke on Saturday morning.
Team doctors are expected to examine Cuddyer, who is batting .252 with three home runs and 35 RBI this season for the Twins.
Jason Kubel started in Cuddyer's place for Minnesota, which carried a 10-game winning streak into Saturday's game.
