Marlins SS Ramirez leaves game
Jul 13, 2008 - 3:08 AM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Florida Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez left Saturday's contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second inning with soreness in his right shoulder.Ramirez, who was voted the National League's starting shortstop for Tuesday's All-Star Game, batted in the second but was replaced by Alfredo Amezaga in the field in the bottom half of the frame.
The 24-year-old Ramirez leads the Marlins with a .371 batting average and 23 home runs this season.
