Moss leaves game in seventh for Pirates

Aug 17, 2008 - 7:47 PM PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Pirates left fielder Brandon Moss left Sunday's game against the New York Mets in the seventh inning after injuring his left leg during an at-bat.

Moss grounded a ball to first base and awkwardly turned his ankle while running out of the batters box.

Jason Michaels moved to left field and Steve Pearce entered the game in right field.
