Orioles acquire RHP Bass from Twins
Sep 5, 2008 - 8:27 PM BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The Baltimore Orioles on Friday acquired righthander Brian Bass from the Minnesota Twins for a player to be named or cash considerations.Bass, 26, was 3-4 with a 4.87 ERA in 44 games for the Twins this season.
The Orioles made three other rosters moves Friday, recalling infielder Brandon Fahey and purchasing the contracts for catcher Omir Santos and righthander Alfredo Simon from Class AAA Norfolk of the International League.
