Pirates 2B Sanchez leaves game

Sep 10, 2008 - 12:59 AM HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Freddy Sanchez left Tuesday's game against the Houston Astros in the second inning with blurred vision in his right eye.

The two-time All-Star grounded out to third in his only at-bat before being removed from the game. He is hitting .264 with eight home runs and 50 RBI this season.

Sanchez was replaced in the lineup by Luis Rivas.
