MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Pirates left fielder Nyjer Morgan left Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers with a mild left hamstring strain.

Morgan, 28, left in the first inning after legging out an infield single to lead off the game, immediately grabbing his hamstring. He was replaced on the basepaths by Jason Michaels, who also remained in the game in left field.

Morgan is hitting .294 with seven RBI, 26 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 58 games this season.
