Twins RHP Slowey leaves with wrist injury
Sep 26, 2008 - 2:09 AM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Minnesota Twins righthander Kevin Slowey left Thursday's game against the Chicago White Sox in the fourth inning with a right wrist contusion.Slowey appeared to injure himself while fielding an infield single and was taken to the hospital for X-rays.
He allowed six runs - four earned - and five hits in 3 2/3 innings before being replaced by righthander Matt Guerrier.
