NBA fines James, West, Stephenson for Game 4 flops
May 30, 2013 - 4:03 PM New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NBA fined Miami's LeBron James and Indiana's David West and Lance Stephenson $5,000 apiece on Thursday for flopping in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Finals series.Stephenson's offense came in the final seconds of the opening quarter. After hitting a running jumper, he tried to draw a foul on Miami's Ray Allen after incidental contact.
Both James and West were later accused of flopping when they made contact with each other in the paint on the same play with just over four minutes left in the final quarter and Miami leading 89-87.
Indiana eventually won the game, 99-92, on Tuesday to even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.
