Raptors C Valanciunas out for Game 2 versus Cavaliers

May 19, 2016 - 5:55 PM The Toronto Raptors will again be without center Jonas Valanciunas when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers in Thursday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Valanciunas has been sidelined since injuring his right ankle in Game 3 of the second-round series against the Miami Heat.

His availability to return during the series against Cleveland is in doubt after comments made by general manager Masai Ujiri on Wednesday.

"I don't know if we'll be able to have him back," Ujiri told reporters. "You wish a guy like that could be playing, because I feel that's a difference -- he'd be the best big guy in the game by far to me, so that would've helped us. But we don't have that and that's the nature of the NBA. You move on."

The 7-foot Valanciunas has averaged 15 points and 12.1 rebounds in 10 playoff games this season.

Toronto was no match for Cleveland in Tuesday's opener as it suffered a 115-84 loss.
