Lakers' Bryant ejected for arguing
Mar 27, 2008 - 5:11 AM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard Kobe Bryant was ejected with 3:40 left in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's contest against the Charlotte Bobcats after picking up two technical fouls.Bryant began arguing with officials after he and teammate Lamar Odom attempted to tie up Bobcats forward Emeka Okafor after he grabbed a defensive rebound. No jump ball was called, and Bryant became irate.
He then fouled Charlotte guard Matt Carroll, who absorbed the contact and drained a 3-pointer, setting up a potential four-point play on the other end.
Carroll missed the free throw, but Bryant continue to argue, which led to his 15th technical of the season and a subsequent ejection.
