North Texas beats out Southeastern Louisiana 71-61
Dec 23, 2009 - 3:36 AM DENTON, Texas(AP) -- Eric Tramiel scored 19 points and led four North Texas players in double digits as the Mean Green defeated Southeastern Louisiana 71-61 on Tuesday night.Josh White added 13 points for North Texas (7-4), while teammates George Odufuwa and Tristan Thompson each picked up 12.
The Mean Green pulled ahead early, shooting 52 percent from the field in the first period and entering halftime with a 43-29 advantage over the Lions (7-4).
Damon Forest led the Lions in scoring by coming off the bench to put in 19 points.
Starters David Ndoumba and Patrick Sullivan each picked up 14.
