Ross scores 18 as TCU romps
Jan 12, 2007 - 6:10 AM COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- Adrianne Ross scored 18 points and three others finished with double figures as 25th-ranked TCU pounded Air Force, 87-61, in a Mountain West mismatch.Ashley Davis had 15 points and seven rebounds and Helen Roden added 14 and nine for TCU (13-4, 3-0 MVC), which held a 47-32 edge in rebounding and made 29-of-37 shots from the foul line.
TCU led, 41-30, at the half and were ahead by as many as 27 in the second half. It held a 25-7 edge on points off turnovers, with Air Force committing 19 giveaways.
Pamela Findlay scored 13 points and Alecia Steele added 10 for Air Force (4-10, 0-3).
