Jan 13, 2007 - 2:32 AM BRONX, New York (Ticker) -- Jessica Adair scored 19 points as No. 14 George Washington won its sixth straight game, a 77-51 destruction of Fordham.The Colonials shot 59 percent (19-of-32) in the first 20 minutes and held the Rams to three field goals in opening a 46-10 halftime cushion. They extended the lead to 44 points midway through the second half.
Adair made 8-of-11 shots and grabbed seven rebounds in just 18 minutes.
Kenan Cole added 12 points and Kim Beck chipped in 11 and six assists for George Washington (13-2, 2-0 Atlantic 10), which shot 46 percent (33-of-72), held a 45-30 edge on the boards and committed just eight turnovers.
Lisa Carrol scored 22 points and LaToya Chalmers added 12 and 12 rebounds for Fordham (2-14, 0-2), which shot 32 percent (14-of-44) and committed 18 turnovers.
