No. 3 Notre Dame crushes Seton Hall
Jan 5, 2012 - 3:04 AM South Orange, NJ (Sports Network) - Skylar Diggins and Kayla McBride each had 14 points, as the third-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish demolished the Seton Hall Pirates, 74-36.Natalie Novosel added 13 for the Fighting Irish (14-1, 2-0 Big East), who have won 11 in a row for the first time since a 15-game run to open the 2009-10 season.
Devereaux Peters donated eight points and 10 rebounds for Notre Dame, which shot 52.2 percent from the field.
The Fighting Irish welcome second-ranked Connecticut to town on Saturday.
Jasmine Crew ended with 17 points for the Pirates (7-9, 0-2), who have dropped four straight.
