Maryland routs Loyola to stay unbeaten

Nov 21, 2007 - 2:22 AM COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (Ticker) -- Emery Wallace scored 18 points to lead six players in double figures as No. 3 Maryland coasted to a 98-50 victory over Loyola of Maryland on Tuesday.

Drey Mingo added 16 points and Kristi Toliver 15 for the Terrapins (6-0), who once again played without standout center Crystal Langhorne, who sat out her fourth straight game with an injured ankle.

Maryland did not miss a beat without her, shooting 59 percent (38-of-64) from the floor and connecting on 12-of-21 3-point attempts.

Vika Sholokhova scored 20 points to lead Loyola (2-2), which trailed at halftime, 51-25, and was outrebounded by a 39-22 margin.
