Bulger sparks West Virginia rout
Dec 15, 2007 - 9:13 PM MORGANTOWN, West Virginia (Ticker) -- Meg Bulger scored 19 points to lead six players in double figures as No. 13 West Virginia rolled to a 93-26 victory over Presbyterian on Saturday.Liz Repella added 13 points and LaQuita Owens 12 for the Mountaineers (9-1), who bolted to a 52-12 halftime lead on 57 percent shooting (20-of-35).
West Virginia held a dominating 53-27 edge on the backboards and forced the Blue Hose (1-0) into 33 turnovers that led to 38 points.
Sharie Hopkins scored nine points to lead Presbyterian, which shot 9-of-45 (20 percent) from the floor, including 1-of-18 from 3-point range.
