NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The New York Giants have signed right guard Chris Snee to a six-year contract extension, the Newark Star-Ledger reported Tuesday.
According to the report,the deal is expected to make Snee one of the top five highest-paid players at his position.
The team could not be reached for comment.
Snee, 26, has started 59 of 64 games over his first four seasons since the Giants drafted him in the second round in 2004.
The 6-3 guard has made 48 consecutive regular-season starts and started all four postseason games last year, helping the Giants win the Super Bowl.
Snee is the son-in-law of New York coach Tom Coughlin.
