Team Report
Record: 9-1
Next opponent: at Arizona, November 23
The Giants' 9-1 start is their best since they opened the 1990
season with 10 wins. They won the Super Bowl that season. New
York is 6-0 at Giants Stadium this season and has not won seven
in a row there since 1990. ... The Giants rolled up 207 yards
rushing on the Baltimore Ravens in a dominating 30-10 victory
Sunday, marking the first time in over 11 years a team eclipsed
the 200-yard mark on the vaunted Ravens defense, which was
ranked first against the run heading into the game. "It don't
matter if they're quiet or not, we got (207) yards rushing on
them," FB Madison Hedgecock said. "They never stopped playing.
That last drive they were still ferocious. My shoulder is still
throbbing. Edgar Allen Poe's a bad man. I remember reading him
in school. Scary dude. Is a Raven like a crow? I have been
thinking about that all week. A sinister crow or a crazy crow?"
... RB Brandon Jacobs was as quick out of the locker room as he
was on the field. "You're going to have to hurry this up
because I have to get to the Knicks game and watch them beat up
on Dallas," he said.
