Giants RB Jacobs practices
Nov 20, 2008 - 7:41 PM EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs returned to practice Thursday and all indications are that he will be ready for Sunday's contest at Arizona.Jacobs was kept out of practice Wednesday due to swelling in his right knee which limited him to only two second-half carries in last week's 30-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The bruising 260-pound running back underwent an MRI exam Monday that revealed no structural damage in the knee.
Closing in on his second straight 1,000-yard season, Jacobs is the NFL's fourth-leading rusher with 879 yards.
