Giants RB Jacobs inactive vs. Cardinals
Nov 23, 2008 - 9:03 PM GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs will miss Sunday's game vs. the Arizona Cardinals with a right knee injury.New York's leading rusher, Jacobs was listed as inactive after injuring the knee in last week's victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Jacobs, who insisted throughout this past week that he would play against the Cardinals, has rushed for 879 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.
Giants star wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who had been tabbed as a game-time decision due to a hamstring injury, was not on New York's inactive list.
