EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress and running back Brandon Jacobs both did not practice Wednesday.

Defensive tackle Fred Robbins also missed the session.

Burress, who has 41 receptions for 454 yards and four touchdowns, aggravated a hamstring injury early in Sunday's 37-29 triumph over the Arizona Cardinals.

"(Burress) has a strained hamstring. He will end up being day to day," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. "They will do everything they can medically to help him. He is very resilient, a very tough guy. He works his way through those kinds of things.

"We are just going to have to wait and see. He will rehab as he has all along. He is constantly working on that. So hopefully that can be something that is overcome in a short amount of time. But let's face it, it is a hamstring."

Jacobs, who leads the 10-1 Giants' top-ranked rushing attack with 879 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, missed Sunday's contest with a left knee injury.

"Jacobs will not practice today," Coughlin said. "I expect him to work tomorrow. But today, he will not work."
