Giants RB Jacobs inactive Sunday
Dec 28, 2008 - 4:48 PM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is inactive for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.Jacobs, who has rushed for 1,089 yards and 15 touchdowns, has been battling a sore left knee.
The bruising back returned to the lineup last week after missing the previous contest to rush for three touchdowns as the Giants (12-3) secured home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs with a 34-28 overtime victory against Carolina.
